Product Support - LightBytes plus
LightBytes PLUS was launched at the beginning of 2005.
All disks show the Version as 1.1, but the latest build for LightBytes plus is Build 2.15
The build number of the software can easily be checked by browsing the program CD-ROM for a text file called VERSION.TXT - in this file will be the build reference of the software on the disk.
If you are running an older build than 2.15, there are some known bugs which have been fixed by the latest software release. Please contact us, using the link below, and we will send you the latest release free of charge. You will have to reinstall the program.
This software was developed with school networks in mind and will run without problems across Windows Server 2003/Windows XP networks. It will also function correctly over RM CC3 networks, but you may have to build your own MSI, using RM’s Package Builder and Application Agent software for the most efficient installation.
The program should run under Windows Vista®, but has not been officially tested on this platform. You may get a ‘driver missing’ error message - please let us know and we can send you the driver file.
